Clerical Aptitude

Measures three aspects of clerical jobs.

  • Checking: Requires the examinee to inspect two columns of names and numbers for differences.

  • Coding: Evaluates the ability to memorize rote material rapidly and to code information correctly.

  • Filing: Requires the examinee to place new material into an "existing file". It therefore measure the ability to alphabetize quickly and accurately, following standard filing practices.
