Assessment of College Potential (ACP) is a series of comprehensive tests
designed to measure the potential of high school seniors to do college work.
Components:
- Aptitude - appraises fundamental intellectual abilities that are not too
dependent on learning derived from a particular school subject.
- Verbal Reasoning
- Numerical Reasoning
- Cognitive Skills
- Abstract Reasoning
- Spatial Ability
- Achievement - provides accurate, dependable data on important skills and
curricular content students have learned in:
- Attitude - interest inventory in the following areas:
- Visual Arts
- Musicality
- Kin esthetics
- Interpersonal (Sociability)
- Intrapersonal (Self Awareness)
- Study/Work Habits
- Linguistic
- Logicality
- Naturalist
